What will the Samsung Galaxy S9 price be?
Based on current estimations and considering how much the Galaxy S8 was priced on release we are expecting the Galaxy s9 to come in at about £639 / $725 / AU$1200. We doubt a significant price change from it’s predecessor because we don’t expect significant design changes.
When will the Samsung Galaxy S9 be released?
The Galaxy S9 release date is estimated to be in the month of March 2018. Some strong rumours are suggesting for a January 2018 release but that seems unlikely given the contract cycles most consumers buy their smartphones with. During the past five years the Galaxy S Series was always released on April of each year but given pressure now by others it’s expected from Samsung to move down a month and hit us with a March 2018 release date.
Will Samsung Glaxy S9 have a fingerprint sensor?
Android 8.0 and above require devices to have a fingerprint scanner for security reasons and this does not seem to be something that will change soon. Further to this fact we’ve also seen a recent patent document that surfaced from Samsung showing fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the front glass.
